Goodbye Chad, Hello Genechad, you're back, mixed emotions

Mixed emotions for having Genechad back and seeing a best friend for the last time in the next few years..


So I got out from work at aroud 11ish AM today, decided to text my college friend Chad for a meet up in Rob Galleria to get  my Genechad back and to wish him Bon Voyage too as he is leaving the country on Thursday to work in Dubai. (Originally planned on doing this tomorrow but since I may be with a drinking spree tomorrow, a sudden plan change happened) But I got no reply from him so I just decided to go home and dropped by to SM Fairview for a kinda time consuming window shopping [Heh! I'm single now, ane beh? lol] when I got a reply from Chad at around 12ish noon that he's okay for a meet up today, it's just that he'll be available at around 2PM pa, so, I had to wait, wait, wait [window shopping and coffee moment].


Blah blah blah, I just found myself checking Genechad inside the box where Chad placed him for transport, it's been more than a year since I last saw the guy and gawd Lord, I got scared / surprised at first because he definitely grew, but not that much, thinking  that the guy is already more than three years old. 


And yes, Genechad is a male, a male turtle - chad's pet [originally] but I am the one who took care of him during his first few months with us, just that, I was forced to return him to Chad when I went home and live with my family again after almost four years of being on my own - we have a kid at home, a bully, seems with ADHD type of kid, those kinds that you would really love to spank and yell at, and I wouldn't like it if I see him playing Genechad like the guy is one of his truck toys that he usually rides until it breaks. [Trak-trakan baga.]


Genechad, we got the guy early part of 2007, is a turtle, was a gift to Chad and to Me. I honestly don't like reptiles, only turtles, I mean Genechad is the only reptile that I like and came to love. I can't even stand looking at them. 
Unfortunately, having Genechad back also means saying goodbye to Chad, for now. Yeah, he's letting me take care of Genechad because he has to leave the country for a job in Dubai - too sad he's not gonna be in the mini-reunion our college friends is planning. But I plan on setting the reunion's date on his birthday, the 20th of December, so that even when he's thousands of miles away, we'd still put a smile on his face by having a celeb on our own. 
Chad: Webcam nalang while you guys are celebrating my birthday here. Hehe. 
*cries*
I will super miss him, he's actually one of my bestfriends during college, shared a lot of funny and laitan memories. Unbeatable funny and sweet memories. 


We will definitely miss you Syjongtian, take care and keep in touch!


And ow, btw, I'm size 7 for US size and 37.5 for euro size. LOL.

It's already 530PM and I'm still up, creating this entry, and still psyched that I have Genechad again, very much good timing to have a new pet at this point of time - when I just got out of a very exhausting break up. Heh!
